Founder Spotlight: Monica Green
A veteran educator, Monica Green launched Capital Village Schools, a network of personalized micro-middle schools that use the Expeditionary Learning model. Capital Village seeks to meet the diverse needs of all students by combining real-world learning expeditions grounded in social justice and personalized instruction. The school, in Ward 5, has an intentionally small student body in order to focus on holistic child development.
Monica was a CityBridge Resident in 2019.
Capital Village PCS is a small learning community where learners take the lead, grow together, and change the world.
